Sometimes it's a mystery to me why mail gets stuck at customs. An incoming pocket letter got a "fine" of €6,38 for being called "papercrafts" 🤦♀️
Well the mystery is solved. I received the package and as it turned out the customs form was filled out and marked as mixed goods with a commercial indication of five dollars.
Of course this is a gift, content a pocket letter, and in no means commercial. But this is why it went wrong and I received an invoice for 6.38 euro for it. Four euro for administration costs to make it worth the effort, the rest over the content.
I filled out the PostNl form online in the hope I can get it back 🤞
