They are back. In The Netherlands we have special stamps for the holidays.
Illustrator Miriam Bos designed this year's December stamps. Her nostalgic design introduces us to playful drawings full of festive scenes in bright colors. For Miriam, Christmas is a time of being together and thinking about each other. Nothing is necessary, but everything is allowed in this fun month. Each December stamp tells a personal story about Christmas and the month of December. Each stamp stands on its own, but together they form 1 cozy Christmas story.
The December stamps are 5 cents cheaper than standard stamps, namely € 0.91. You can stick them on letter mail up to 50 grams with a minimum size of 14 x 9 centimeters. A sheet of 20 December stamps costs €18.20. This special December stamp rate applies from November 14th, 2022 to January 6th, 2023. You can still use them after that. You do have to stick up to the price of a standard stamp.
Do you want to surprise someone abroad with a Christmas card? You can also use the special Christmas stamps for this during the holidays. Stick 2 December stamps on your mail for every destination worldwide! Is your card heavier than 50 grams? Then the standard shipping rate applies. In that case, use the international stamp.
