Ok, so I joined my first event. I've made the card I'd like to send, and know what kind of goodies I'll put in the envelope. But... I see so much beautiful examples of cards that are highly decoraded with lots of litte details. So my self-convidence is kicking in. I'm sure I have a nice card. But it is very minimalist compared to the cards I find on this site and google. It's an differend stlyle, and I don't want to disappoint the receiver of my card. Even when it its senders choice. ( Why I chose this event in the first place to be safe :) ) If there is someone who can put my self-confedence at ease, it will be highly appreciated.

Your card is great because it’s your style! And minimalist can be difficult and stunning. I follow BijMargriet’s work on Instagram her work looks so simple, but I can't pull it off haha. So don't worry, your swapparter will see the thought and care you’ve put in it
We've got a great card maker under us, @LLSBG she does great block cards (sketch type), so everyones style is different and awesome!

Monique, I just joined and I'm definitely feeling that anxiousness myself as well! But 2imagine4's answer was spot on - the magic of snail mail is the time you took to put together the card and fill it with goodies and send it on it's way. There's magic in that. You got this!

Hi Monique I feel the same way every single time I send out a swap, but every time the recipient is thrilled to get a little something special in the mail that was created just for them. Your partner is going to LOVE what you've created. I just know it.
