It's finally Friday, and the weekend is around the corner! What do you have planned for the next couple of days? Are you going to take a break and relax, or do you have some exciting activities lined up?
Maybe you're going on a family outing, exploring on your own, or taking it easy at home. Or perhaps you're planning to get creative and make some beautiful cards, start a scrapbook, or send some love through snail mail. Whatever your plans are, we'd love to hear about them! So, what's on your agenda for the weekend?

Spent a lovely weekend with my mother in Groningen (in the north of The Netherlands) for her birthday 🥳
And took the mail with me on a 225km drive to a mailbox to send " Snail Mail Friends Mail" to a Platinum birthday girl 🎂 📬

Happy weekend! Our son will be busy collecting donations for Jantje Beton, a Dutch charity promoting outdoor play and physical activity for kids tomorrow. While he's out, I plan to tackle the clutter and mess that seems to have taken over our house. It's amazing how things pile up and never seem to clean themselves, but I'm determined to make some progress this weekend! 😊

The Netherlands is in for a delightful and sunny weekend ahead! 🇳🇱☀️ However, I must admit that the rising temperatures are a bit too much for my liking. I find myself yearning for the arrival of fall! 😄
What creative projects do you have planned for this weekend? Personally, I'm working on a pocket letter that has been sitting on my desk for three days now, but I'm facing a challenge: one color is overwhelmingly dominant, and I'm looking for a way to balance it out with something else. 🎨💡

The weather is absolutely splendid, with temperatures reaching a delightful 25 degrees (77F). It's the ideal time to soak up the sunshine and enjoy the outdoors.
I've decided to take my son on a little adventure today. We're going to ride on my scooter and go for a spin and exploring the beautiful surroundings beyond our neighborhood and spending quality time together.
We may have to stop halfway to get some ice cream .

Not much crafting, unfortunately, but it was a productive Sunday. I've been dealing with a lot of WiFi issues lately and I was so fed up with it that I decided to switch everything to a wired connection. I still have some cable management to do in one room, but I'm just so happy to finally have a stable connection—no more 'pling plong' sounds from Windows anymore, haha!

I've been slightly out of touch lately but am now catching up. Recently, I spent a few days with my mother to assist in organizing and packing since she’s planning to move. She had marked some items for disposal, but I managed to save them in the nick of time. I seem to have inherited my trait of never throwing anything away from my father. He wasn’t one to particularly cherish these items, but he kept them all the same. Among the items I rescued was a box filled with books, almanacs, and leaflets from his side of the family—some quite old and worn. To some, these might appear as clutter, but to me, they are invaluable. I have a profound appreciation for these ancient relics, haha!

I am still catching up to all my mail and almost done, so keep an eye on your mailbox ^_^ Also I'm doing some online shopping for my mother. She recently moved and has already settled in, but she's still in need of a few items for the kitchen. She relocated at the beginning of March and is enjoying being close to her sisters, who live in the same building. However, we recently suffered a loss when one of her sisters passed away on March 26th. So sad
