Sender's Choice Snail Mail Creation Swap!

This swap is designed to celebrate the art of mail creation and exchange, providing a beautiful opportunity for both new and experienced swappers to share their love for snail mail. Whether you're a crafter, artist, writer, or simply someone who loves to put together thoughtful parcels, this swap is for you.

It's time to break out and use your Snail Mail Friends free event credits if you haven't tested the waters yet. Don't be afraid to take the plunge!

What to send:
Main Snail Mail creation: Craft a piece of snail mail that you would be thrilled to receive. This can be a beautifully decorated letter, a handmade postcard, a mini zine, a tiny flipbook, or any other mail art that can be sent through the post. The key is to make it personal and creative, something that showcases your unique style and passion for snail mail.

Goodies: In addition to your snail mail creation, please include some small, lightweight goodies that your swap partner can use in their own mail art or crafting projects.

Suggestions include:
  - A selection of vintage or themed ephemera for collage or decoration.
  - An assortment of stickers or labels.
  - Samples of washi tape, neatly wrapped around a piece of card.
  - Small stamped images or die cuts.

Guidelines:

  • Ensure the total weight of your swap does not exceed 50 grams, keeping it affordable and postage-friendly.
  • Take care in packaging your items, ensuring they are secure and presented in a way that will bring joy to your partner.
  • Include a note with your username and the swap ID, so your partner knows whom to thank for their lovely mail.

This swap is open to everyone! Whether you're new to the world of snail mail or an experienced mail artist, we encourage you to join in and share the joy of creative correspondence. The goal of this swap is not only to exchange beautiful snail mail but also to inspire creativity, spark new ideas, and build connections through the timeless tradition of letter writing and mail art. Let's make someone's day by sending them a little handmade wonder through the post!

Happy swapping!

Oh sorry, I have a lot of work at the moment and, consequently, I was late for a lot of swaps. I think crafting 3 different Round Robin projects at the same time was a bit too ambitious too (though I loved it !). I have now finished all the late projects and need to focus on the 2 events left plus a creative journal that will receive soon. I'll join more events as soon as I have more free time.

No need to apologize! That's why we have the considering option, which allows for flexibility in scheduling. Looking forward to seeing you in new swaps when you're all caught up. Happy crafting!

That's so stupid... I thought that the fact that my sons 16th birthday was the 16th would help me remember that i wanted to join. But chaos because of the birtday did the opposite and made me forget all about it.

Well, have fun and maybe next time!!
